MINIMUM STANDARDS FOR PROFESSIONAL STATUS
The following are the minimum requirements for membership of K.I.H.A.
Student MembershipThis is the entry grade for almost all those who wish to join the Energy Healing category within K.I.H.A. Applicants must:
- be at least 18 years of age.
- be prepared to undertake the necessary self-development to become a Full Energy Therapist.
- accept the application, training and development conditions set by K.I.H.A.
- agree to be bound by K.I.H.A’s Code of Conduct, Constitution and Bye Laws.
- To achieve approved membership of K.I.H.A.
- demonstrate that they have knowledge and understanding of energy healing issues which meet the standards of K.I.H.A.
- satisfy K.I.H.A that their energy healing skills meet or exceed the minimum standard acceptable for members in K.I.H.A.
- Candidates for member status must have undergone a period of training and development as agreed with K.I.H.A during which they will have covered, to the depth required, the topics outlined in the Minimum Standards for Training and Development. The candidate’s knowledge and understanding will be assessed by a board of K.I.H.A Assessors.
- Candidates for joining membership status must provide evidence of their energy healing skills and be put forward by a K.I.H.A Tutor.
- Candidates for a joining membership status must understand their duty of care towards the public and the legal framework within which they must operate. They must accept and understand K.I.H.A’s Code of Conduct and the Complaints & Disciplinary Procedures.
- Members who lapse from membership of K.I.H.A must meet the requirements of the K.I.H.A for renewal of membership.
